Updated 4 October 2026. This notice covers the Alba Earth website and its note demo, signup forms and contact form. It does not describe a released Zenda app or future hardware.
Who looks after your information?
Alba Earth Pte. Ltd. is responsible for the information you share through this website. For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, or to unsubscribe, email privacy@albaearth.com.
Browsing the website
We do not add advertising pixels, analytics trackers, embedded social feeds or third-party font requests. The images, fonts and scripts are served with the website. Netlify hosts the site and processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser details and request times, to deliver it and help prevent abuse. This necessary hosting activity is separate from advertising tracking.
Your note stays here
Typing or using the lock animation does not send your note to Alba Earth or MailerLite. The note is saved locally only when you choose “Yes, keep it”. It is stored as plain text in this browser, together with its saved date and time. The animation is not encryption; someone with access to this browser may be able to read it.
Use “Forget it” in the note section to remove the saved note, or clear this site’s stored data in your browser. If the browser blocks storage access, the demo reports that it cannot confirm deletion; clear this site’s stored data through your browser settings. We hold no server copy and cannot recover it. A different browser or device will not have it. Avoid putting sensitive information in the demo.
Email signups
If you choose “Notify me”, your email address is sent to MailerLite and recorded in the group for your signup choice. MailerLite sends a confirmation email for new subscriptions; follow its link to confirm. Alba Earth can view your signup status and confirmation history within our MailerLite dashboard. MailerLite also processes technical information needed to receive and protect the request. Your note is never included.
“Join the build” requests news when each Zenda form arrives and occasional build updates. The signup under “Leave a note” requests an app launch notification. These choices are recorded separately, even though we manage them in one dashboard. We use your consent to send the updates you request; browsing or saving a note does not subscribe you. Providing an email address is optional; without it, we cannot send you the requested updates.
You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails. You can also withdraw consent or ask us to delete your signup at any time by emailing privacy@albaearth.com. We do not sell your email address. MailerLite collects and manages subscriptions and delivers the updates we send.
Contact messages
If you use “Contact us”, your email address, message and optional name are sent through Netlify Forms to Alba Earth. Netlify stores submissions and forwards a copy to our hello@albaearth.com email inbox. We use this information to respond to your enquiry. Sending a message does not join the waitlist, and your private note is never included. Contact us at privacy@albaearth.com if you would like us to delete your message.
Storage and service providers
Signup records are held in our MailerLite account. We keep the information while it is needed for the updates you requested, or until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. A minimal record of an unsubscribe request may be kept to avoid contacting you again. Provider technical logs and backups follow their own retention schedules.
Our providers may process information outside your country. Read MailerLite’s privacy policy and Netlify’s privacy policy for information about their processing, safeguards and international transfers.
Cookie & browser storage declaration
The current website code does not set cookies or include advertising, behavioural tracking or analytics scripts. It uses the local browser storage listed below only to remember a note you choose to keep and its saved date and time. Local storage is different from a cookie: these values are not automatically included in requests to our server.

We do not display a cookie-consent pop-up because the current site has no optional tracking categories. Saving a note is optional: choose “Yes, keep it” to store it in this browser, or “Discard” to continue without saving it.
This table describes storage created by the current website. Returning visitors may still have cookies or storage from an earlier version, including the former cookie notice. The current site does not use those entries. You can remove them through your browser’s site-data settings; clearing all data for this site also deletes any saved note.
Browser storage is separate from the hosting logs and email signup records described above. Opening a MailerLite confirmation or unsubscribe page, or following a social link, takes you to a separate service whose own privacy and storage practices apply.
Social links
Our Instagram, X and TikTok links are ordinary links. Those services are contacted when you open them, and their own privacy policies apply on their sites.
Children's privacy
The Alba Earth website and the Zenda companion are not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact privacy@albaearth.com and we will take steps to delete the information.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect changes in our technology, our providers, or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this notice occasionally.
Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or a portable copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact privacy@albaearth.com to make a request.
